Ian Malouf,
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Australian businessman Ian Malouf is an experienced yacht owner, charterer, self confessed work and yacht-a-holic. Malouf spends 75% of every year on the water, travelling the world with his wife Larissa and their five children.
Ian’s love of the high seas and a personal frustration that grew when chartering out his own vessels (72m, 236 ft CORAL OCEAN; 54m, 177 ft MISCHIEF; 30m, 100 ft CHAOS and 15m, 50 ft TROUBLE) is what inspired his passion for launching Ahoy Club, the world’s #1 digital yacht charter platform. Malouf is joined in this venture with the eldest of his five children, Ellie.

Chief Operating Officer
Ellie Malouf is the Chief Operating Officer at Ahoy Club. Across every facet of the business, including charters, commercial partnerships, marketing, finance and PR, Ellie worked closely with Ian in bringing Ahoy Club from concept to creation. Originally hailed as an industry ‘disruptor’, Ellie prefers the term ‘improver’, as they democratised the market in their digital-first approach to chartering technology. Core values learnt by her time in the family businesses, Ellie believes in putting the customer before all else.
Her first-hand experience in yachting means she knows what is essential in providing seven-star services, value and most importantly, a fun time on the water for clients. Ellie is spearheading Ahoy Club into further growth with plans to advance their charter platform announced this year.
