The Carnac stones in the village of Carnac in Brittany are a dense collection of megalithis sites, with more than 3,000 prehistoric stones erected by the Celtic people. Not far from Brittany, you’ll find La Roche-aux-Fees, or the rock of faeries. Local lovers are known to get married at the stones at twilight, according to ancient folklore.
